Chelsea's Help International

Introducing: Chelsea’s Help International – Helping Orphans in China We had fun playing with the kids at the Zhongshan Childrens Welfare Institute (ZCWI). The ZCWI is one of 56 orphanages in the province of Guangdong . The ZCWI is home to over 300 children. We wanted to do something for the place that gave Chelsea a home for the first 2 years of her life. We plan to send shipments over a couple of times a year. We want to start by sending soccer balls to our friends at the ZCWI. If you would like to help, send your contributions to: CHI PO BOX 2633 Ruston, LA 71272. We would like to send by April 1, 2013. Thanks for sharing.

Home!

After 30 hours, we are home! We left Guangzhou on the train to Hong Kong Thursday and spent the night. We left the hotel at 6:00 am and flew to Tokyo. With about an hour between flights we boarded the plane for our 12 hour flight to Atlanta. It was so nice to hear people talk in English! Complete sentences:). Then it was off to Monroe. Chelsea was awesome on the trip. She just sat in my lap and played the whole way. We had a great welcoming crew at the airport and Chelsea poured on the charm. After playing a little while at her new house and a visit from Papaw and Aunt Donna Lynn she went straight to bed. She is still asleep after 12 hours. Excited about the day and exploring her new house.

This is in Atlanta waiting on our luggage for Customs. This pic says it all! The boys are great travelers. When we got to the Tokyo airport, Cayden wanted to know if their was a Sky Club:). Spoiled traveler.

Cousins:

Still can't believe she is here, in our house! Our family has been so blessed by this sweet little girl. Thank you for all the prayers, well-wishes and comments. We can't wait for everyone to meet her.- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad
